Pop Up Event Requirements
Last year, we had an overwhelming success with the community collaborating with us for pop up events. Some went amazing, some not so much! That’s okay! However, I have done some reflecting and needed to make some guidelines around pop up events so all parties are successful! Starting 2/9/26… any event that has less than 2 people registered will be cancelled.
New Service
For those who want clarity post Color Analysis, I will be offering an add-on service where you can Personal Shop with me. This Personal Shopping Trip is different from the Personal Shopping Service for the My Authentic Closet Signature Style Package. This is a service where we would meet at a designated location and we go shopping and put your Swatch Wallet to the test. This service we hope gets you feeling confident about going into the stores. :) Pricing and Launch Date Coming Soon.

Today’s Topic: Why Packing Feels Overwhelming (And Why It Doesn’t Have To)
There’s a moment while packing for a trip that almost everyone knows too well: the bed covered in clothes, the suitcase half full, and the lingering thought—Why does this feel so hard?
For years, I thought packing stress was just part of traveling. Too many options, not enough outfits, and the fear of bringing the “wrong” things. But after having a color analysis consultation, something unexpected happened: packing became… simple.
Not perfect. Not boring. Just easy.
When you know your authentic colors, you stop packing possibilities and start packing confidence. Most of us overpack because we’re unsure. Unsure what looks good on us. Unsure what will work together. Unsure how we’ll feel in the clothes once we’re actually there. Color Analysis quietly removes that uncertainty. When every piece in your suitcase already works with your skin tone, hair, and eyes, you’re no longer gambling on outfits. You’re curating them. Instead of thinking, What if I need this? You start thinking, Of course this works.
After a Color Analysis, your closet becomes more intentional, and that carries straight into travel.
Here’s what changes:
Everything mixes and matches
Neutrals actually feel neutral (not dull or harsh)
You pack fewer items but wear more outfits
Getting dressed on vacation feels effortless, not stressful
Suddenly, that “capsule wardrobe” everyone talks about isn’t a trend, it’s just your clothes.
Simple Packing Tips Using Your Color Palette
If you’ve had a Color Analysis (or even if you’re just starting to understand your best colors), here are a few easy ways to make travel packing lighter and smarter.
1. Choose 2–3 core neutrals from your palette
Instead of defaulting to black, navy, or beige, pick the neutrals that truly flatter you. When your base pieces are in yourbest neutrals, everything instantly coordinates.
2. Add 1–2 accent colors for personality
This is where your palette shines. A scarf, top, or dress in one of your standout colors adds interest without needing extra pieces.
3. Repeat outfits (intentionally)
Wearing the same pants or shoes multiple times isn’t a packing failure; it’s a strategy. When colors work in harmony, repetition looks chic, not lazy.
4. Let go of “just in case” items
If it’s not in your palette and you already know you rarely reach for it at home, you won’t suddenly love it on vacation. Trust what you know works.
5. Pack for how you want to feel
Color affects mood. Soft, warm tones can feel relaxed and romantic. Clear, bright colors can feel energized and confident. Choose with intention.
One of the best parts of packing with your colors isn’t just the lighter suitcase, it’s the consistency. You don’t feel like a watered-down version of yourself while traveling. You feel familiar. Grounded. Put together in photos, at dinner, on morning walks, and late flights home. Your clothes support the experience instead of distracting from it.
Travel Doesn’t Have To Be Complicated We often think simplicity means sacrificing style, but color analysis proves the opposite. When you understand what truly works for you, decision fatigue disappears. Packing becomes faster. Outfits become easier. And traveling becomes what it’s meant to be, an experience, not a wardrobe challenge.
Sometimes, the most freeing thing you can bring on a trip isn’t another outfit.
It’s clarity.
The Weekly Style Note
The Weekly Style Note is a series dedicated to simple, wearable color and style tips you can actually use. Each week, we’ll highlight one idea related to Color or Style. Whether it’s how to style a trending color, make the most of what’s already in your closet, or elevate an everyday outfit with small, thoughtful details. Think of it as a quick style refresh: practical, approachable, and designed to make getting dressed feel easier and more fun.
2-9-26 Style Note: Building an Outfit Around One Hero Piece
The easiest way to look pulled together is to start with one standout piece and build from there. Think a statement coat, sharply tailored trousers, eye-catching shoes, or a structured bag that instantly elevates your look. Let this hero piece lead, and keep everything else clean, neutral, and understated so it can truly shine. By avoiding competing details and over-styling, you create outfits that feel intentional, polished, and effortlessly chic. This is proof that great style often comes from simplicity.
Brand of the Week
Think of this as your Personal Style navigator. From brand breakdowns to seasonal essentials, I’ve got you covered. Everything you see here is available directly through my ShopMy Storefront, so you can grab your favorites in just a few clicks. Let’s make color your new best friend.
A quick heads-up: this guide is based on what’s currently available on the brand’s website, combined with my take on seasonal color theory. Product photos can be edited, so colors may look slightly different in person—always double-check with your swatch wallet for the perfect match.
You might notice some seasons get more spotlight than others, or that only neutrals appear for certain palettes. That’s just a reflection of the brand’s current offerings, not a deliberate omission. Alright, with that out of the way, let’s dive into this week’s featured brand:
